This is probably one of the best nasi kuning I've ever eaten. The rice is slightly dry but in a good way, it matches perfectly with all its condiments - shredded meat, fish (I guess), potatoes, fried shallots, and boiled egg. And the best part of this nasi kuning is their sambal. It's not too spicy, but it gives an extra taste to this dish.

Take out nasi kuning seroja using gojek to bought it. Nice local manado food with egg and price is cheap as well. With limited parking space.

It was my first visit to Saroja and it wasn't a very good eating experience. I ordered nasi kuning (yellow rice) and it was served cold. I don't like it. For me, nasi kuning is supposed to be served hot/warm. Anyway, the toppings (beef, shredded tuna/cakalang, fried onions, and fried diced potatoes) were pretty good. The boiled egg was just meh.

Best yellow rice in town.Since 90's the taste still same and memorable. If you want to take it away, then they will wrap it in the special leaf called 'woka'. The smell of hot rice will blend with woka leaf makes it one of the kind of all yellow rice.

this place ought serves nothing but nasi kuning, but we'll get back to it later. I arrived at around 2pm and there was visually no other visitor. really cast doubt on those good reviews tho.we sat in, ordered 2 plates and drinks. nasi kuning came in swiftly with minced potatoes, a whole hard-boiled egg, abon, slices of fish meat, and maybe more of toppings I can't recall.my partner asked to the staff (owner?) if they know the nearest place to buy pisang goreng (fried bananas here in Manado are served with spicy sauce). initially they said it was the wrong time to buy them, since ppl usually enjoy fried bananas after nightfall. well ok, maybe next time, we thought. but a few minutes later she asked how many bananas we needed, we told her we only need a few to satisfy our curiosity, and beyond our expectations she said she'll get it from her relative who sell it. we haven't finished our meal when she deliver the bananas with dabudabu sauce.

Five stars! Super tasty, it has sweetness, savory, perfect for your appetite. Definitely will re-purchase once I travel back to Manado. You MUST try a portion of nasi kuning komplit with hard-boiled egg. Yumm.

Good taste, but nothing special

if you looking for breakfast menu in Manado, this food is a best offer. Yellow rice with some fish and ann egg. Rich in flavour and tasty, add “sambal” hot sauce if you dare. Located not too far from megamas super block and not too hard too find. Feels like you have a breakfast in a homey place.

Taste good but nothing special

Mainly served yellow rice (nasi kuning) and quite cheap and tasty. The place itself is rather small and old. You may park your park your car on nearby shops or road side but not directly in the front of this restaurant since it located on a junction.
